wednesday morning: on the mall
Ideally, it takes me an hour and fifteen minutes to get to work. The last 45 minutes are spent walking. By choice. I get off the subway at Downtown Crossing and walk to my office, which is located near Fenway Park. It’s roughly two and a half miles. The great thing about this walk is that Boston is an extremely walkable, not to mention picturesque, city. And I tend to vary my route from time to time.
This morning, I walked through the Common and the Public Garden, followed by the roughly eight blocks through the Commonwealth Avenue Mall.

I love walking in a city in the early morning. There was a time when my commute included walking through Hyde Park by the rose gardens as the sun came up. They smelled amazing!

Very nice Chris. I miss walking in the big city. I used to love walking in Hartford or NYC. There is just something about a big city. Not sure what it was. Nice pic of the homeless…LOL
